Overton School Friends Association
(OSFA)
The role of OSFA is to encourage parents to get involved in school life and to raise funds to spend on additional needs within the school.
All parents and teachers of the school are automatically members of OSFA but everyone contributes in different ways. Some people are members of the committee who take the lead on planning and organising the events and making decisions on spending funds, some people offer particular skills for specific events, some people help by attending/participating in the events and activities organised. Everyone has a role to play!
OSFA raises funds through a variety of events such as: Cinema nights and Rose Queen. The committee try to plan a variety of different events to suit everyone. We are always open to new suggestions and ideas!
The funds raised are always spent on a wide variety of resources for the school, to ensure that all children benefit whatever their age and interests.
The committee meets approximately four times a year and everyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
